Intel support website does not have oem updated windows 10 driver for the intel (r) centrino (r) advanced n-6205 wifi adapter - so please do not suggest updating driver. i am already running the most current driver for this adapter.. This is on a fresh install of windows 10, but i did restore my windows 7 image, and the wifi works fine. i have noticed now that the hp wireless button still only controls bluetooth in windows 7, but, since the wifi is on and not stuck off, i have never noticed before as i have never needed to turn it off.. Atheros doesn’t produce drivers themselves. so you can’t find atheros wifi drivers on their website. they work with oem device manufacturers such as acer, asus, hp, etc..
